Wendy Williams Gets Nude for PETA

"Wendy Williams has put fur coats aside and wants you to do the same.

Making her stance public Wednesday, Williams revealed an anticipated ad, in which she is seen posing nearly nude, for PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign.

Speaking of the campaign in a statement, the daytime talk show host said we should learn to feel comfortable in our own skin.

"We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let animals keep theirs," said Williams.

Williams posed for the ad earlier this year, later confirming the news on her daily talk show.

According to PETA, the "Dancing With The Stars" alum and former radio show host "once wore mink and fox fur."

"Wendy also encourages people who have fur coats to donate them to PETA so that they can be given to the homeless. PETA is working with shelters in Wendy's home state on coat drives this winter—something that is in great demand as the numbers of needy and displaced people have increased following Hurricane Sandy," reports PETA." via
